What is Word Connect Association?
Word Connect Association is a relaxed word-association puzzle for Android from NovaBit Games. You don't spell words or hunt through a letter grid. Each level shows a board of word tiles, and your job is to drag the tiles so every row shares one topic. Put MARS, SATURN, EARTH and JUPITER in a row and it locks in as Planets.
Early boards have four or five topics and feel almost like a warm-up. By the later levels you are sorting nine rows, 36 tiles, where topics like Snakes and Reptiles, orBirds and Owls, sit side by side on the same board. Knowing words helps, but the real skill is spotting the connection.
Across the 500 levels in version 1.6 there are 348 different topics and 16,916 tiles to place. 125 of those levels include a picture group: a small topic that turns into a picture tile, which then belongs to a bigger topic.

How to play in 60 seconds
- Read the whole board. Look at every tile before you move one. Name the topics you can already see.
- Drag tiles into rows. Each row needs four tiles from the same topic. When a row is right, it locks and changes colour.
- Solve picture groups first. A finished picture group turns into one picture tile that belongs in a bigger topic.
- Watch your lives. Failing a level costs a life. Lives refill over time, or you can top up with coins.
- Use boosters when truly stuck. Topic Hint, Reveal Words and the Magic Wand each give a different amount of help.
Boosters at a glance
Topic Hint
Reveals topic names that are in play, so you know which categories to look for. The lightest help, and often enough.
Reveal Words
Highlights two words from the same topic. Good for breaking a tie between two similar rows.
Magic Wand
Colours all four words of one topic. The strongest booster, so keep it for 8–9 row boards.
